Split Me is a free, browser-based bill-splitting tool. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. You must not:
Split Me offers optional Google Sign-In to enable features such as saving and revisiting past splits. By signing in, you authorise us to access basic profile information (name and profile photo) provided by Google.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your sign-in session on Split Me.
Bill data you enter into the tool — food items, amounts, and participant names — is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to our servers unless you explicitly choose to save a split.
Saved splits are stored securely in Firebase under your account and are only accessible to you. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
All content, design, and code within Split Me are the property of Split Me and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
Split Me is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
The bill calculations provided by Split Me are for convenience only. You are responsible for verifying all amounts before making any payments.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Split Me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Split Me at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
